Mr. Gutierrez was born and raised in the south side of San Antonio.  He is known as a father, husband, and a great friend.  Mr. Gutierrez attended school in South San Antonio ISD from elementary through high school.  He then went on to Palo Alto College where he obtained 3 associate degrees and studied abroad on The Holocaust Tour.  He then went to Texas A&M Kingsville-San Antonio where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Education.  He is currently certified EC-6 Generalist.

Mr. Gutierrez has been in the field of education since the Fall of 2002 when he became a substitute teacher with the South San Antonio ISD. Later he became an instructional assistant in the Bilingual Department at Frank Madla Elementary with South San Antonio ISD.  After completing his certification, he taught 2nd grade his first year in Dilley, TX at Dilley Elementary.  

Mr. Gutierrez continues his mission to help the students become young leaders, good citizens while at the same time teaching them their academics of Science and Social Studies in elementary grades.
