I went to a small school in north central Texas.  VERY small.  I graduated with 67 people!  I attended Texas State University right after college, I knew I wanted to teach from a very young age.  I thought my cling was elementary, but once I stepped into a middle school classroom. I knew it was the place for me.  I taught 8th grade for 7 years at Ed White Middle School, then moved on to Northside ISD where I taught at Bernal MS and Roscoe MS.

This is my first year at New Frontiers and I am currently teaching 6th grade ELAR. I absolutely love the students and the staff has made me feel so at home.  I am currently pursuing my Masters in Reading and hope to finish before next year.  I am an energetic teacher who works hard to plan meaningful lessons for ALL my student’s needs.  So proud to be part of this excellent team of educators!  My goal as a teacher is to encourage my students to be lifelong learners and have a joy and love for reading.
